- Check In: Arrive between 3:00 pm and 8:00 pm - No early check-in
- Check Out: By 12:00 Noon (delayed checkout will be charged an additional day unless prior approval)
- Quiet Hours: Between the hours of 10:30 pm – 8:00 am
- Entrance: Use Main WEST Arch Entrance for check-in – Proceed and STOP at the “OFFICE” located at the house for registration. ALL campers are required to check in at the office prior to parking or entering the camping area. For the safety of our guests, ONLY registered campers will be allowed to enter the campground. Car tags are required. Please inform us if any visitors arrive (they must reserve a site). We do not allow non-paying visitors in the campground. Once you are registered you may use the EAST exit.
- Liability Release Forms: Required for all campers. Guests must understand that they are enjoying the private property and resources at Crystal Springs Campground, LLC at their OWN RISK. No lifeguards or supervision is provided for swimming, kayaking, or other activities. Crystal Springs provides access to the Portneuf River for recreation and all guests agree to wear approved life vests or flotation devices while on the property. Shooting guns and/or hunting is not allowed or tolerated.
- Speed Limit: 3 MPH from entry past the house. 5 MPH Limit is enforced throughout the campground. Pedal bikes are only allowed on the roadway in the campground. Please watch for pedestrians. Motorized vehicle use is limited to entering and exiting the campground.
- Trash Removal: Thank you for leaving your camping area clean and debris free. We reserve the right to charge a $50 cleaning fee if the area requires extra attention following your stay. Keep in mind wild cats and animals may get into food and/or trash if left out. For your convenience, we have dumpsters for trash located at the EAST end of the campground and by the port-a-potties near area #3.
- Pets: All pets are required to be kept on leashes near your shelter at all times. Pets on a leash MUST be accompanied by an adult attendant anywhere outside of your reserved area. Do not leave pets unattended in the campground. All pet waste must be picked up and taken with you as trash. Pets are not allowed in or near the “Swimming Hole.”
- Supervision: Children must always be accompanied by a responsible adult. Camp guests are to stay in your own designated camp area unless using walk trails or designated recreation areas. Please do not cut through other camp areas. Use the designated roads and trails only.
- Trees: Please respect the trees and do not climb on or hang things from them (no hammocks). Trees are provided solely for shade and a damage fee will be charged if replacement is necessary.
- Damages: We work hard to keep our sites pristine and clean, so if there is any damage to the trees or your site after your stay there will be a minimum $100 damage fee depending on the damage.
- Substances: No illegal drugs are allowed at ANY TIME on this property. Alcoholic beverages are to be consumed ONLY in your own reserved campsite and nowhere else on the property. Smoking cigarettes or anything similar is not permitted anywhere other than IN your own reserved campsite.
- Tables & Mats: Picnic tables should be lifted when moving to alleviate damage to the grass. We do not allow ANY mats due to sun damage to the grass.
- Fires: Fire is permitted ONLY in designated fire pits. Seasonal fire restrictions may apply. Absolutely no fireworks or floating fire lanterns are permitted on the property. Do not burn your garbage or leave cans or excess wood in the fire pits.
- Swimming Hole/River: Please take any trash back to your site to keep the river and swimming hole clean for other guests. NO GLASS is allowed anywhere near the river or swimming hole. Children must be accompanied by an adult, and must wear life jackets.
- Dress Code: We maintain a “family friendly” private property campground. To respect others, NO thong, tiny suits, or speedos allowed in the campground or at the swimming hole without covering.
- Large Groups: Only the guests that are listed on the registration will be allowed into the campground. We do not have unlimited parking or space available to accommodate extra people not listed on the reservation, so please have an accurate count prior to calling to book. Each vehicle will be tagged to identify registered guests. Any unexpected guests will be charged a site price, only if we have space available, if the campground is full they will be turned away.
- Private Property: Please be mindful that there is private property bordering this campground. Maps and signs are specific about the fenced boundary and areas of use. No trespassing on the private property near the entrance, power plant or across the river.
CANCELLATION/REFUND Policy
- Individual Sites: Notification is required 7 days prior to arrival date for a full refund less a $5 reprocessing fee. No refund will be issued if notification is less than 7 days prior to arrival date.
- Group Reservations: Notification is required 30 days prior to arrival date for a full refund less a $5 reprocessing fee. If less than 30 days before the arrival date, no refund will be given.
Feel free to contact us at any time if you experience issues with other campers. Any disturbances will be reported directly to the state police or the county sheriff. Disruptive campers will be asked to leave day or night with no refund.
